Our Swimming Instructors
Our coaches have taught Learn-to-swim programmes for schools, childcares, and corporate companies. They have over 10 years of coaching experience with infants, toddlers, kids, adults to senior citizens.
We do regular reviews of our teaching methods to ensure that they are up-to-date and effective. Our coaches have to go for compulsory workshops organized by Singapore Sports Council or National Registry of Coaches.
Adrian Ong
Coach Adrian Ong has over two decades of experience in developing swimmers to reach competitive levels, with numerous achievements under his belt. He is a certified National Coaching Accreditation Program (NCAP) Level 3 Master coach, with expertise in both theory and technique. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Sports Coaching with Applied Sports Psychology from a local polytechnic and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education which includes applied sports science, coaching pedagogy, sports development, sports team management, early childhood development and professional coaching practice.
Coach Adrian holds a FINA Level 2 certificate. He is also a qualified deep water workout instructor from Mississippi State University. As a registered Master Swimming Coach with the National Registry of Coaches and a affiliate member with Singapore swimming association and the American Swim Coaches Association, Coach Adrian is committed to continuous learning and development. He is also a certified strength and conditioning trainer from NCSF. A qualified Swimsafer instructor as well as Swimsafer open water instructor and tester for Singapore swimming proficiency awards (SSPA).
Coach Adrian's passion lies in supporting his swimmers to achieve their fullest potential, and he does so through a fun and innovative approach. His extensive experience and certifications attest to his dedication to the sport of swimming and his unwavering commitment to helping his athletes succeed.
Coach Eric
Coach Eric is a certified Swimsafer instructor and registered coach with the National Registry of Coaches (NROC), with more than 20 years of coaching experience. His specialty lies in teaching young swimmers how to swim, using a fun and innovative approach to help them learn.
Coach Eric is well-loved by his students, who eagerly anticipate his lessons. He has the ability to handle children with different learning abilities, thanks to his vast experience and patience. Coach Eric's dedication to teaching his students how to swim has made him an exceptional coach, and his students benefit greatly from his expertise and guidance.
Coach Jack
Coach Jack is a highly experienced and certified swim and lifesaving instructor with over a decade of experience. His belief that swimming efficiently is a necessary life skill highlights his dedication to providing his students with a valuable skill set.
Coach Jack's interest in strength and conditioning further demonstrates his commitment to ensuring his students are well-rounded athletes. He is NSCA certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (C.S.C.S) as well as the Singapore Weightlifting Federation L1 coach certification.
In addition to his extensive experience and certifications, Coach Jack is a strong advocate for continuous learning. He has furthered his education by obtaining a specialist Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science as well as Nutrition science from a local polytechnic and currently pursuing his Masters in the field of sports science in NIE. It is inspiring to see Coach Jack's dedication to his craft and his commitment to continually improving his knowledge and skills.
Coach Choo (William)
Coach Choo is a highly experienced coach with over 35 years of coaching under his belt. He holds a certification as a pool lifeguard and Swimsafer Instructor certificate from Sports Singapore, and his expertise lies in helping swimmers to build confidence in the water and excel in the sport.
Coach Choo's guidance has been instrumental in developing numerous top competitive swimmers, particularly in the area of breaststroke. He has a keen eye for detail and is passionate about nurturing his students to reach their full potential.
Coach Choo's dedication to his craft is evident in his many years of coaching and his commitment to helping his students succeed. His ability to develop top athletes and his passion for the sport of swimming make him a valuable asset.
Coach Jian Wen
Jian Wen is a Physical and Aquatics Trainer with a specialization in working with children, from their learn-to-swim phase to their developmental years. He focuses on their psychomotor and cognitive development pathways while making swimming a fun experience for them. Jian Wen is an ex-swimmer and fitness enthusiast who holds a certificate in Sports and Exercise Science.
Aside from his work with children, Jian Wen is also experienced in coaching them in net barrier and invasion games. He is an adventurous spirit who enjoys extreme sports and has a long-term goal of conquering Mount Everest someday. Jian Wen's expertise in physical training and aquatics, combined with his passion for sports and fitness, make him an exceptional coach who is dedicated to helping his students reach their full potential.
Coach Chee Han
Coach Chee Han started exploring competitive coaching in 2019, driven by a desire to enhance his own swimming abilities. Through self-coaching and coaching his peers, he developed a strong sense of discipline and provided valuable guidance to his fellow swimmers. Together, they achieved notable successes in various swimming and competitive lifesaving competitions.
Over the past four years, Coach Chong has continued to expand his knowledge and skills as a coach, and he remains committed to ongoing learning. He is particularly interested in understanding coaching methodologies from different countries and sports, with the aim of enhancing his own coaching abilities and improving the performance of his swimmers.
To further develop his expertise, Coach Chong is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Physical Education from a local university. His dedication to continuous learning and improvement is a testament to his passion for coaching and his desire to help his swimmers achieve their full potential.
Coach Carissa
Coach Carissa is a Backstroke specialist and also a swimmer at a local University. Her experience as a swimmer enables her to better understand and relate to the needs of her students. Coach Carissa has a deep passion for helping beginners overcome their fear of water and she uses a fun and innovative approach to do so.
In addition to her expertise in swimming, Coach Carissa also has a major in accounting, which has honed her attention to detail. Her attention to detail translates into her coaching style, ensuring that her students receive the best possible guidance and support to improve their swimming skills. Coach Carissa's unique combination of skills and passion makes her an excellent coach who is dedicated to helping her students achieve their goals.
Coach Ryun
Coach Ryun is a Butterfly specialist and also represents a local University as a swimmer. She has a deep passion for swimming and enjoys helping children who need more attention or who may have a fear of water. Coach Ryun uses the scaffolding method to teach her students, which allows them to progress at their own pace while encouraging them along the way. This approach benefits children who need more confidence and assurance in the water.
In addition to her expertise in swimming, Coach Ryun also enjoys playing the guitar and conducts guitar lessons in her free time. Her passion for music and teaching translates into her coaching style, creating a fun and engaging learning environment for her students.
